1. Repair. Grinding out cracks, rust, and any other unnecessary debris is what we do. Sanding down all the surfaces, we get to the root problem and to achieve a proper bond. Using either fiberglass gel or cloth, we insure a watertight seal (up to 5 years)!
2. Prep. After repair, we cover the area to avoid overspray. Applying our bonder primer, this prepares for the final paint sealer.
3. Paint. Once the primer is dry, we spray on our waterproof polyurethane paint sealer – your color choice. A jacuzzi tub reglazing masterpiece!

What do we do? The process is professional and safe, but simple. Here is the four-step process to a stellar tub and tile reglazing:

1. Strip coating. However long it takes, we remove the old unsightly paint. We also perform repair where necessary: sanding, crack filling and more. It is not advisable to let cracks or missing coating cause water seepage.
2. Etch to remove gloss. We use an eco-friendly etch to remove the old glossy coating from the original tub and tile.
3. Epoxy primer. Once the surface is prepped, we are ready to make your shower shine – your way. Custom color brings eye pleasing memories that last for year – just like your tub and tile reglazing!
4. Polyurethane resin. Next, we replace the glass. We insure a watertight surface by using two coats of resin. This step-by-step tub and tile reglaze is all the rage!

Stunning Soaker Tub – Conversion

If you are tired of your old jacuzzi tub, there is no need to buy a brand new bathtub. We can convert any tub. This tub was in really good shape. So, we did not need to perform any repairs.
First, we removed the jet inserts. Next, we filled in the holes with waterproof

bonder. Third, we smoothed down the bonder and rest of the tub, to achieve a uniform surface. This is also necessary to adhere the final coating. Note the attention to detail. This is how we converted an outdated jacuzzi tub into a stunning soaker tub for this happy customer! The pictures don't lie – this is one stunning "redo!"

Peeling Tub? No Problem!

Our latest project was a cast iron tub restoration. It had old coating that was peeling off. Leave it to Tuff Tubs to strip off the peeling paint and perform a masterful bathtub refinish.

Peeling Tub – Prep

As you can see with this old cast iron tub, its paint job has seen better days. The first step in tub reglazing is to prep for the primer. With peeling paint, we sand down the old surface.
