Bathtub – Prep

As you can see with this old cast iron tub, its paint job has seen better days. The first step in tub reglazing is to prep for the primer. With peeling paint, we sand down the old surface. This allows it to have bonding properties and to smooth out the bathtub. This rusty tub is no match for our prep skills!

Cast Iron Tub – Prime

Priming is step two. In order to smooth out whatever is not flush, this coat is added. Prepping the bathtub, shower, sink or countertop for the paint, it is also a layer of refinishing "health insurance." A peeling bathtub primed for success, makes for a satisfied customer!

Our simple five step shower repair and refinish process is time and terrain tested.

Prep. First, we remove all caulking and loose debris. This allows for tighter adhesion. By sanding and utility knives, we precisely keep the surface as smooth as possible.

Repair. Next up, shower refinish repair. Our industrial strength filler is applied and sanded smooth with a high speed grinder. Not only does this encourage a super smooth shower surface, it also is a beauty of an eye catcher as well!

Etching. For the sake of bonding, we etch the shower surface with an eco-friendly stain. Thus, this achieves a porous surface to which the final sealer bonded, producing a watertight seal. This important step in shower refinish basic is performed with care, as you can see in the photo.

Primer and Coating. Fourth, multiple coats of waterproofing paint sealer are applied. As a result, this step gives our customers their "new" shower!

Sealer.  When our final application of sealer is sprayed, this shower repair and refinish giggled with glee!

When it comes to the sink refinishing process, there are five basic steps to success.
1. Acid etch the porcelain surface. Our eco-friendly etch creates a uniform bonding area. This is so that we can properly adhere the primer coatings. 
2. Fill in chips with fiberglass gel and sand smooth. A rusted surface or some other damage is probably what caused you to look into a sink refinish in the first place. So then, it is of utmost importance to do surface repair in order to "re-create" your sink. Not only do we expertly repair, but we use waterproof fiberglass gel. Thus, we insure that this will be a watertight sink finish masterpiece.

3. Mask off area. After the repairs are complete, the sink surface is prepped, then we move to coating. A preliminary, but important step is masking. Our workspaces are clean, tidy, and efficient. Naturally, we are committed to keep your bathroom or kitchen area free from overspray or any other unwanted debris. 

4. Spray 2 coats of epoxy primer. Thoroughness is our trademark. To make sure you have a uniform surface, two coats of primer are applied. This is especially important if your are changing the color of your sink.

5. Spray 2 coats of polyurethane resin. Lastly, two coats of smooth and silky resin paint coating are sprayed. The color of your choice, is our sincere gift!
